Bed and Breakfast Il Rifugio

It is magnificent to stop at the first lights of the evening at the Bed and Breakfast: to feel the sensation of being able to touch the moon, so near it seems, to witness the spectacular colours of the sun setting into the sea and the many little lights that illuminate the streets and the houses of Praiano and Positano.
Comfortably stretched out in the open, your gaze is captured by the stars which, in this antique uncontaminated place, appear more numerous and dazzling.
Cheered up by this site and caressed by the slight breeze that comes from the sea and from the mountains, one feels recharged by healthy energy.

IIn the morning, guests can taste a delicious breakfast, honey and butter made on the spot will be served; it can also be eaten inside the small dining room, or also outside the Bed and Breakfast, warmed by the first rays of sunshine that slowly rise from Monte Faito. And while you assist the splendour of the sea during the first rays of daylight, you will feel intoxicated by the smell of lavender, rosemary and other aromatic plants typical of this area.

The guest of the Bed and Breakfast can decide in the morning if he/she wants to follow the paths which take directly to the sea, or those which take him/her up the hill. But in both cases, while he/she proceeds, each one can feel the curative and relaxing effect that is produced by walking immersed in nature not bothered by artificial noises, typical of our chaotic cities, but regenerated by the healthy air that penetrates and purifies our organism.

The bright bedrooms, moderately furnished, enjoy the view of the sea and the mountains (rooms with private bath and fine accessories). The small living room and the kitchen, which are communicating, are very welcoming. They are also very bright and panoramic, thanks to the numerous windows, found all along the perimeter.

In the winter it is possible to spend lovely evenings by the fireplace, comfortably relaxing on the sofas.
In the autumn, you can assist or participate at the vintage of the local country folk, to gather walnuts, a very tasty fruit which has multiple curative properties, and lovely walks can be taken in the Bed and Breakfast's woods where chestnuts trees are, and there pick blackberries, chestnuts and pore mushrooms, these considered the most aromatic in Italy.
In the spring, the colours of nature are many: the flowers of the fruit trees blossom, wild orchids, anemone and cyclamen sprout in the undergrowth, visited by blackcaps, blue tits and butterflies, so many butterflies, like we were used to seeing so long ago.

If the guest requests, a guide can be available to accompany the guest along the paths and to furnish useful information.
A shuttle service is available upon request, from and to the airport in Naples,the dock in Sorrento from where there are daily boat and hydrofoil departures for Naples, to the archaeological ruins in Pompei, to the Islands of Capri and Ischia.
